Today's altcoins are no longer in the fragile state of the past, where a movement in the major market would lead to a bloodbath; instead, they often exhibit independent market trends and demonstrate greater resilience.
Looking back at the first half of 2025, altcoins were either 'sucked dry' by Bitcoin (funds flowing into BTC put pressure on them) or dragged down by an overall weak market, resulting in almost no independent trends; however, the current market logic is clearly different—funds are now more focused on the 'expectations of Federal Reserve rate cuts,' entering when expectations warm up and also preemptively betting on pullbacks after expectations are realized. The increase in short-term volatility is actually a normal outcome of this kind of speculation.
For the market in the coming months, my strategy is to 'take it one step at a time,' but the core judgment remains unchanged: the current market trend has not yet completed. If Bitcoin can indeed experience a pullback, it would actually present a rare opportunity for positioning. Specifically, I will focus on ADA, Pendle, Link, and BNB; the rationale for choosing them is 'attack when possible, defend when necessary': they can keep up with the rebound rhythm when market sentiment improves and can maintain relative stability during pullbacks, making them suitable for swing trading at this stage, gradually lowering holding costs through buying low and selling high.
The essence of all these market changes is actually the result of 'capital flow.' When leading assets like Bitcoin lack new narrative support (such as technological breakthroughs or practical applications), and their cost-performance ratio is no longer outstanding, the capital originally concentrated at the top will naturally start to 'flow downstream' into the realm of altcoins with lower valuations and greater potential. The 'capital dam' that had been long backed up at the top is also slowly being unblocked.
From 'capital gathering at the top,' to 'diverting and spreading towards mid and lower-tier assets,' and then to 'market trends spreading across the entire market,' this is itself a natural law of market rotation and also the underlying logic that allows current altcoins to emerge with independent market trends.
