I was initially only moderately interested in Bitlayer's activities until I actually participated in Booster Phase 3 and discovered that it's more interesting than I imagined.
First, let's talk about the threshold: 61+ Binance Alpha Points, which conveniently draws in the most active users. Then there's the gameplay: deposit YBTC.B, and no matter the amount, you can enter the reward pool. The tiered design allows both small and large players to have space. I casually tried depositing a bit, and found that I could also stack additional earnings from Plume, which feels like a 'buy one get one free'.
Next is the Lucky Helmet NFT; I used to think it was just a small gadget, but now it has become a ticket to 800K BTR. I quickly went to verify it, and the process was very smooth, completed in less than a minute.
After this experience, Bitlayer gives the impression that it is—neither complicated nor lacking in tangible rewards. More importantly, it made me feel for the first time that Bitcoin can really engage in DeFi, rather than just 'holding and waiting for a price increase'.
Thus, the activity is superficial, but the experience is key. With this move, Bitlayer has kept users within the BTCFi ecosystem.
