Are many people fantasizing about inscriptions?

Who is the main force behind inscriptions? It's just those folks from Shenzhen. They finished harvesting and exited a year ago, and now they're still dreaming, with no momentum left for inscriptions.

Understand one thing: others are here to make money, not to help you build anything. The original definition of inscriptions was speculation, right? How can you expect it to evolve and develop continuously like DeFi or Layer 2?

Can inscriptions rise again? Perhaps, but even if they do, compared to other ecosystems, they are still trash. Even if they rise, you still won't run; in the end, all that will be left is a mess.

When inscriptions were hyped up, the whole scene hit a climax as if it was the starting point of a new narrative. But what was the final result? It just left behind the miners who once profited.

The logic of inscriptions is actually quite simple:

1️⃣

Package "scarcity" as value;

2️⃣

Package "on-chain garbage" as assets;

3️⃣

Then rely on emotions to drive the price to astronomical levels in a short time.

The problem is, all of this lacks sustainability. Inscriptions don't have real application scenarios or continuously accumulating new stories like other projects do. The essence of inscriptions is one-time harvesting, and there's nothing left to follow up with.

The so-called "ecological prosperity brought by inscriptions" is even more false. Besides competing for inscriptions, smashing inscriptions, and hyping inscriptions, who really wants to dig deep into this pile of garbage data? Whether it's developers, institutions, or funds, none will stay for the long haul.

Some say inscriptions are the starting point of a "new era." Please, Bitcoin itself is the purest narrative; does it still need inscriptions to add drama? The only contribution of inscriptions is to amplify retail investors' fantasies and then send their chips into the pockets of miners and whales.

So my judgment is: inscriptions might stir up a few rounds of localized speculation, but they are destined to be short-lived, and they will be left far behind by the core. Holding inscriptions is like holding garbage, not willing to throw it in the trash can!

Look at those ordi, sata, rats weekly charts; they're practically horizontal like a highway. Do you think they have any opportunities? There are no main forces, only retail investors, and even if they rise a little, there won't be any consensus, and in the end, it will still lead to a stampede!
