Grayscale has submitted an application for a Dogecoin ETF with the ticker GDOG
🤑 Grayscale has filed with the SEC to convert the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust into the first Dogecoin-based ETF in the U.S.
✔️ Once approved, the fund's shares will trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker GDOG.
If the regulator gives the green light, this will set a precedent: the meme coin will officially debut on Wall Street. Institutional investors will gain access to DOGE, and the very idea of "crypto pop culture" will receive additional legitimacy in the world of traditional finance.
