On Saturday, European leaders released a joint statement showing their strong, long-term support for Kyiv. They said Ukraine should face no limits on its army or on working with other countries.
The statement added that Russia cannot stop Ukraine from moving toward the EU and NATO. Leaders promised their help for Ukraine will continue, as the country works to join Western institutions.
