The attention economy is the trend of the future trend is good
Recently, I have been continuously tracking @TREX_chain's funding of 17 million dollars. I really like their vision, as they aim to completely disrupt the attention economy of Web3 using Proof of Engagement (PoE). To put it simply, it is the T-Rex Chain built through Arbitrum Orbit, allowing you to earn cryptocurrency while enjoying videos on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and other platforms without even realizing it! Moreover, they are using zkTLS technology, which greatly protects privacy.
In September, their passport system will be launched, and I've heard that friends in the Philippines have already gotten a head start, which I truly envy. Furthermore, as the next step, the official team will provide an incubation fund of 8 million dollars to help developers secure resources, attract KOLs, and promote media. By the end of the year, they plan to bring together over 100 creators for major IP collaborations to build a super cool digital cultural city.
Unlike other projects that immediately engage in various on-chain activities, @TREX_chain focuses on off-chain community events, which have been thriving. Recently, their community events in Bangkok and Manila attracted many community members to participate, and I really hope they can come to China to host an event—I sincerely wish to participate.
In this era of information explosion, attention is your equity, and the community is your home ground. I am very much looking forward to @TREX_chain bringing us disruptive performances—not just earning rewards, but binding interaction, interest, and value together through Proof of Engagement.
In my view, this is the trend of the future: whoever can truly capture and retain people's attention will lead the next wave of the Internet. Perhaps the next distribution of wealth and influence will not depend on how much capital you have but rather on how much genuine, sustained participation and connection you can contribute.
