🤬A COIN WITHOUT OWNER!🤬
I really enjoy promoting the BOB coin, I don't have a specific reason, it's like I just like to cheer for the underdog!
People often criticize me for this!
So I decided to simulate a hypothetical scenario, based on facts.
I want to make it clear that I will not abandon the coin in any way and I will try to be optimistic as I have always been and create cool things, or simply do nothing! There's no way to please everyone! Stay if you want to stay!
If you launched a cryptocurrency and then abandoned the project, the chance of it organically increasing in value would be extremely low — but not impossible.
The value of any cryptocurrency depends on supply, demand, and narrative. Without an active team, it would only appreciate if other external factors attracted interest.
how this could happen:
1. Extremely limited supply
If your coin had a small supply and many coins were “lost” (as happened with some of the early bitcoins), scarcity could generate future interest.
📌 Real example: Yearn Finance (YFI) ran out of additional emissions and gained value due to its rarity.
2. Strong community
Even without developers, if a passionate community arose around the coin (memes, organic marketing, integration into services), it could drive the price up.
📌 Real example: Dogecoin was practically abandoned for years, but the community (and Elon Musk) revived the project.
3. Pure speculation
If traders discovered your coin on small exchanges and there was a wave of speculative buying (pump and dump), the price could temporarily rise — but it wouldn't be sustainable.
4. Market accident
A forgotten token becomes trendy by accident — for example, an automatic integration in some DEX or someone famous inadvertently mentioning the coin.
💡 But the risk is huge: without active development, security, and usability, it is more likely that the coin will go to zero than appreciate.
Normally, “abandoned” coins only rise if some group takes over the project.
