$TRX The founder of the Tron blockchain, Justin Sun, has sued the news agency Bloomberg and demanded a temporary injunction against the publication of information about his financial assets.
Sun's representatives stated that in his profile in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, published on August 11, 'inaccurate data was presented that fundamentally and dangerously distorts information about Mr. Sun's assets.'
Now Sun is demanding through the court to prevent the publication from 'recklessly and improperly disclosing his strictly confidential, sensitive, personal, and proprietary financial information.'
In his lawsuit, the founder of Tron stated that in February a journalist approached his team with a proposal to include Sun in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, for which it was necessary to 'verify his assets to confirm his wealth.'
The entrepreneur agreed, and he was given 'unequivocal assurances' that this information, particularly regarding his cryptocurrency assets, would be kept strictly confidential, and Bloomberg would use it only for analysis.
Sun clarified in the lawsuit that on August 2 he sent a letter to Bloomberg demanding to cease publication of information about his assets, but the publication stated it would still publish the article.
At the same time, the entrepreneur claims that the report attributes to him ownership of cryptocurrency that 'he has never owned, controlled, or had any beneficial interest in, nor did he report on the cryptocurrency he owns.'
This can cause significant harm and expose me and my family to the risk of theft, hacking, kidnapping, and bodily injury, wrote Sun.
In response to the entrepreneur's claims, Bloomberg's lawyers stated that they would contest the lawsuit, as the essence of his statement is disputed.
