😓 This is what I learned by losing $500 in a single trade

A few months ago, I entered a trade feeling confident… too confident.

Everything pointed to the price going up. I did my analysis, saw “clear” signals, and took a large position.

But within hours… I was $500 down.

Instead of closing and accepting the loss, I stayed hoping the market would “recover”.

Result: the loss was even greater and the lesson, tougher. $BTC $ETH $BNB

📌 What I learned from that experience:

1️⃣ Don't trade with money you can't afford to lose. Stress makes you make worse decisions.

2️⃣ Always set a stop-loss. I thought I could control it manually… wrong.

3️⃣ Don't fall in love with a trade. The market doesn't know you entered, it doesn't care about your entry.

4️⃣ Manage risk. Even if you see “the opportunity of the century”, never risk more than 1-2% of your capital on a single play.

💡 Reflection:

Losing $500 hurt, but it taught me a lesson that is worth much more: risk management is more important than finding the “right crypto”.

Today I trade with a cool head and I know my goal is not to win every time… but to survive long enough to keep playing.
