Metaplanet Inc., the largest publicly traded company in Japan that owns Bitcoin, is heading towards the country's fixed income market to enhance its Bitcoin treasury strategy.
The company, which controls 18,113 Bitcoins, revealed plans to issue perpetual preferred shares to finance new acquisitions, with an ambitious goal of accumulating 210,000 Bitcoins by 2027.
