Our market has a pool of total market capitalization share; the more you occupy, the less others will occupy. This means there is only one hundred percent. Therefore, we can see that when Bitcoin's market capitalization share is on the rise, other coins are in a half-dead state. For ease of understanding, we can simply think of it as Bitcoin's blood-sucking market trend (Figure 1 shows the blood-sucking chart of Bitcoin during two bull markets). The process of a bull market generally starts with Bitcoin's price surge, followed by Ethereum's surge, and then the altcoins' surge. The stronger one becomes, the more its market capitalization share rises. Since there are too many altcoins, we can group all altcoins together to form a single market capitalization share for easier observation. Currently, it is a strong period for Ethereum, so we can see that Ethereum's market capitalization share is on the rise (Figure 2). However, as mentioned at the beginning, the market capitalization share only adds up to one hundred percent; the more you occupy, the less others will have. Therefore, Bitcoin's market capitalization share begins to decline (Figure 3). For altcoins, the order in a bull market is: Bitcoin's market capitalization share rises (other coins' shares decline) → Ethereum's market capitalization share rises (other coins' shares decline) → altcoins' market capitalization share rises (Bitcoin and Ethereum's shares decline). So what we need to observe now is when Ethereum's market capitalization share will peak. From (Figure 4), we can see that Ethereum's market capitalization share has broken down in this bull market. Personally, I believe that Ethereum in this bull market belongs to a rebound after a breakdown, so there is a high probability that it will not break through the upper high-density area. Therefore, I believe that this round of Ethereum's market capitalization share will end around 15, and will not exceed 18. Thus, a large upward trend for altcoins will occur when Ethereum's market capitalization share reaches 15-18, while the bear market will arrive when Bitcoin's market capitalization share falls to 40-45. This bull market cycle is very long and has a slow pace, requiring more patience.
