Metaplanet acquired 518 bitcoins at an average price of $118,519 for a total of $61.4 million, bringing the value of its assets to approximately $1.85 billion.

The company is the sixth largest corporate holder of bitcoins in the world, after mining company Riot Platforms (NASDAQ:RIOT), and has been steadily increasing its purchases of the largest cryptocurrency in the world over the past year.
