The Consumer Price Index (CPI) gauges the average variation over time in the prices that urban consumers pay for a selection of consumer goods and services.
As per Bloomberg's information, the headline CPI is projected to have risen 2.8% year-over-year in July, an increase from a 2.7% gain in June.
