What happens when closing a Futures Grid Bot on Binance?

A neutral Futures Grid Bot uses price volatility to generate profits through buy and sell orders within a defined range – without market predictions. With leverage (e.g. 3x), profits and losses are amplified.

When closing the bot:

- Open orders are canceled → no impact on P&L.

- Open positions remain → contain unrealized profits/losses.

- Realized P&L comes only from completed grid trades.

📊 Example:

+100 USDT profit from completed trades

−150 USDT unrealized loss from open positions

→ Close bot = +100 USDT realized

→ Manually close positions = −150 USDT realized

→ Total loss: −50 USDT

🔍 Conclusion:

Closing the bot ends the strategy, but does not automatically close all positions. Those who want to avoid losses should manage open positions strategically – e.g. with stop-loss or by holding when expecting a market reversal.
