Yes, I still believe this man is the real Satoshi. He was a coder, a genius really. The kind of person who writes history with code.
And here's a crazy coincidence nobody talks about. Hal Finney lived for almost a decade in the same small town where Newsweek found Dorian Nakamoto. Were they neighbors? Did they grab coffee and talk cryptography?
Finney's elegant writing was just as fluid and precise as the original Bitcoin whitepaper.
Then, a terrible thing happened. In August 2009, his doctor gave him an ALS diagnosis. This neurodegenerative disease would slowly take his genius away from us.
When Satoshi posted in April 2011 "I've moved on to other things," I don't think he meant new projects. I believe he meant he was spending his last precious moments on Earth with his beloved wife and son.
So if he's the one, Bitcoin wasn't just a gift. It was his final masterpiece.
