Bo Hines, Executive Director of the White House Crypto Council, has announced his resignation to return to the private sector.
In his statement, Hines expressed gratitude to the crypto community and reflected on his tenure:
"Serving in the Trump administration and working alongside our brilliant AI and crypto czar, David Sachs, as Executive Director has been a once-in-a-lifetime honor. Together, we positioned America as the crypto capital of the world."
The role is currently vacant, with no official successor announced yet. However, crypto reporter Eleanor Terrett suggests that Deputy Director Patrick Witt may step into the position.
This leadership change comes at a crucial time as the Crypto Council navigates evolving regulations and innovation, continuing to shape U.S. policy to maintain global crypto leadership.
More updates to follow.
