White House Crypto Council Executive Director Bo Hynes announced his resignation on Saturday.
Hynes stated that he will resign to return to the private sector and thanked the crypto community for their 'steadfast' support. He wrote in a statement on Saturday:
"Serving in President Trump's administration and working alongside our outstanding AI and cryptocurrency president David Sacks has been an honor of a lifetime. Together, we positioned America as the global capital of cryptocurrency."
Although a successor has not yet been determined, independent crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett has stated that Deputy Director of the advisory group Patrick Hynes may be appointed to take over the position.
