The civil lawsuit between the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple Labs appears to be over, with documents confirming that both parties have mutually agreed to withdraw the regulator's appeal and the blockchain company's counter-appeal.
In a document submitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Thursday, the court acknowledged that the SEC's appeal and Ripple's counter-appeal have been mutually withdrawn in the enforcement action involving XRP.
"It's over... now back on track," Ripple's Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty wrote in a post on X on Thursday.
