📰 Institutions Accumulate 4 Million ETH in Just 6 Months
In just half a year, major financial institutions have acquired over 4 million Ethereum (ETH), bringing total institutional holdings to 8.4 million ETH as of August 6, up from 3.9 million in February — a 113% increase.
Key players include ETF giants BlackRock (2.9 million ETH) and Grayscale (1.2 million ETH). Among public companies, Bitmine leads with 833,000 ETH, making it the largest Ethereum-holding public firm globally.
This surge highlights growing institutional trust in Ethereum. Since the early April buying spree, ETH has skyrocketed 151%, from $1,425 to $3,570.
According to Tom Lee (FundStrat CEO), if this trend continues, Ethereum could surpass $4,000 by year-end.
