Binance launched Treehouse Token $TREE and its corresponding airdrop on July 29th 2025.
Treehouse is the native utility and governance token of the Treehouse Protocol. It is designed to coordinate incentives across stakeholders .
Due to lack of infrastructure, fixed income remains virtually non-existent, although fixed income markets size far exceeds equities and commodities in traditional finance. The core missing piece is a Decentralized benchmark rate to enable consistent product development and settlement. To solve this, #Treehouse introduces two foundational primitives:
DOR (Decentralized Offered Rates) : DOR is a Decentralized benchmark rate-setting mechanism, designed to bring term structures to on-chain rates like staking yields. By using network of panelists to submit forward rate expectations and staking them against accuracy, DOR enables products like interest rates swap, fixed-rate loans, and forward rate agreements, unlocking a full stack fixed income market in Defi.
tAssets (LST 2.0) : tAssets are liquid staking token wrappers that arbitrage rate discrepancies across lending markets. This stablizes Defi rates and serves as a building block for yield bearing strategies and structured products.
DOR and tAssets together lay the groundwork for a scalable, decentralized fixed income ecosystem - solving the volatility and fragmentation of today's block-by-block floating rate products.
Treehouse TVL crossed $500 M for the first time on August 1st, and Binance added $TREE as collateral for its VIP loans.
In the future, Treehouse is transitioning from $ETH centric rate convergence to cross-chain fixed income infrastructure as it plans tSOL and tAVAX liquid restaking tokens. These will arbitrage rate discrepancies on Solana/Avanlanche Defi platforms while maintaining DOR consensus menchanism.
