Budget bombshell: Trump signed a border bill on July 4th that is so loaded it is practically bulletproof. $30 billion for ICE, $45 billion for new detention centers, and yes, more funding for the wall.
🚔 ICE becomes the largest and most funded police agency in US history. With 10,000 new agents, they will be able to deport up to 1 million per year. Its annual budget now exceeds that of the FBI, DEA, ATF, and the Bureau of Prisons COMBINED.
Detention centers will increase from 50,000 to 100,000 beds. They already inaugurated "Alligator Alcatraz" in Florida. Private prison companies are celebrating: an additional $11.25 billion PER YEAR for 4 years.
