Eternity is more real than this short temporal space of life.

Jesus in John 14:6, where he says:

"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me."

With this, Jesus is affirming that He is the only way to reach God, not one path among many, but the only and true one. It is not just about a direction, but about a personal relationship with Him that leads to eternal life.
