What if I told you Elon Musk just promised you 10 BTC…
But it wasn’t really him? 👀
Welcome to the new wave of crypto scams—powered by AI and wrapped in ultra-realistic deception.
🔥 $200M Gone in Q1 — Here’s How
According to the latest Bitget Anti-Scam Report, over 87 deepfake scam rings were busted across Asia. These groups used AI-generated videos and voice clones of famous people like Musk, CZ, and even regulators — tricking users into fake token launches, giveaways, or “airdrop verifications.”
But it doesn't stop there…
Security firm GoPlus revealed a multi-stage scam where you’d first receive a small USDT test transfer (like $1.50) to your wallet — just enough to make it seem trustworthy.
Then?
You’d unknowingly approve a malicious smart contract.
💥 Wallet drained.
📱 The Spoofed Binance SMS Trap
If you thought you were safe just using Binance... think again.
Users recently reported spoofed SMS alerts that appear to come from Binance itself, saying things like:
> “⚠️ New login from Moscow. Call Binance Support now.”
The message shows up in the same SMS thread you usually get official messages from.
What follows?
A number to call, a fake support agent, and instructions to “secure your wallet” by transferring assets to SafePal or TrustWallet — which ends up in the scammer's hands.
🧠 Stay Smart: CryptPundit’s Red Flags
✔ Never trust celebrity crypto videos unless they’re on verified accounts.
✔ Don’t interact with random airdrops or USDT test sends.
✔ Binance will never call or text you directly — especially asking for seed phrases or wallet transfers.
