BlockBeats News, on July 31, according to data from the cryptocurrency market analysis platform Santiment, whale addresses holding between 10 and 10,000 bitcoins have accumulated a total of 0.9% of the total supply over the past four months. Considering that the current circulating amount of bitcoin is 19,899,417 BTC, this percentage actually rises to 1%. This is because there is still a portion of bitcoin that has not yet been mined (with a total supply of 21 million coins).
On-chain analyst Ali Martinez stated that in just the past 48 hours, bitcoin whales have accumulated an additional 30,000 BTC.
