"Binance is eight years old. In the traditional corporate world, that may seem like a blink of an eye, but in the crypto space, it is a lifetime," said Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, while reviewing the platform's journey and the central role of the community in its development.
The executive noted that the platform's users have been protagonists in the responsible adoption of cryptocurrencies, in a context where regulatory clarity is improving in key markets and cryptocurrencies are consolidating as a mature and legitimate asset class.
According to data shared by the CEO, the Binance community exceeds 280 million people. Since the seventh anniversary, nearly 80 million new users have joined the platform, he stated.
