The co-founder of Solana compared memes to loot boxes in games: fun, but toxic. However, he acknowledged that without them, Solana would not have soared so powerfully. Just in June, the decentralized apps Let’sBonk and Pump.fun accounted for 62% of all dApps revenue on the network.
