After Bitcoin reaches 120,000, let's talk about my views on the altcoin season

In this cycle, many people have discussed the topic of altcoin season, with some saying it will come again, while others say it will never return. Here’s my conclusion: the outbreak of altcoin season will come again, for the following reasons:

1. The advantage of retail investors is their ability to summarize, but the disadvantage is also their ability to summarize. In the bull market of 2017, Bitcoin and altcoins soared together, followed by the bear market of 2018 where altcoins collectively went to zero. Although Bitcoin also fell sharply, it was obviously much milder compared to altcoins. As a result, everyone learned their lesson and heavily bought BTC during the subsequent bear market. Then in the bull market of 2021, altcoins exploded. As long as you held on until the end, the gains were several times or even dozens of times. Compared to altcoins, Bitcoin's gains were negligible, and many Bitcoin holders missed out on this great bull market. After this wave, everyone started summarizing again, planning to buy altcoins in advance in the next cycle and to be diamond hands.

2. Always remember one thing: capitalists do not do charity. The money invested will eventually be recouped with interest. After the wave of 2024-2025, where altcoins collectively went to zero, retail investors have basically sold out. Now, most of the chips in the market have been reclaimed by the project parties. The project parties now have enough cheap chips in hand, making it easy to manipulate and control the market. With just a few tens of thousands of dollars, they can create a market value of millions. Once they start pulling up collectively, market enthusiasm will be ignited immediately, and everyone will mindlessly chase the price; chasing highs and selling lows is a common trait among retail investors.

3. Those who have experienced bull and bear cycles know that despite the several-fold increase of BTC in 2024, the market has never really been ignited; a bull market is often accompanied by nationwide craziness, discussions, and a state where even pigs can make money. A significant rise of one coin does not bring prosperity to the entire market.

4. The violent bull market of altcoin season will come again, and it will be very crazy. In other words, altcoin bull markets will continue to exist as long as the crypto industry is still around; the recent altcoin bull market is likely to occur in the second half of the year, so seize the opportunity.
