Unboxing review|#阿瓦隆A15pro actual experience: violent aesthetics under a calm appearance!
To be honest, the mining industry has been changing rapidly in the past two years, with all kinds of new products emerging one after another. As an "old miner", I am used to seeing all those fancy models on the market, and I am not so enthusiastic about new equipment. But until this Avalon A15pro came into my hands, everything changed.
First sight: a heavy-duty warrior with a full sense of industry
As soon as I opened the package, the A15pro gave me a feeling that "this machine is not simple" - the silver-gray metal shell + the classic Avalon logo, a calm and technological temperament. The size of the whole machine is 301×192×292mm, and the overall weight after packaging with the power supply is only 15.9 kg, which is not too difficult to carry. The power supply is also included in the package (good review!).
The dual-fan design on the front seems to be designed for "violent heat dissipation". The two large 12050 fans tell you: they are not here to be cute, they are here to work!
Start the excavation engine with a roar
Power on, networking, deployment completed, everything went according to the process. The moment the machine was turned on, the fan whirred and the humming sound went straight to the roof. The official said the maximum was 75 decibels. I used a noise meter to measure it and it was almost at this level. It is recommended to put it in the computer room or balcony, not in the bedroom, unless you really like "white noise" to help you sleep.
Performance test · Real steel beast
The measured stable hash rate is 218T/s, with a small fluctuation range (basically within ±1T), which is very stable. Moreover, after 6 hours of continuous operation, the power consumption data remains around 3662W. The energy efficiency ratio is the official nominal 16.8 J/TH, which is almost consistent with the official data.
I want to give a thumbs up to the heat dissipation efficiency - at room temperature of 28°C, the temperature of the entire core is maintained between 70~75°C, which is excellent. Although the fan is noisy, it is not for nothing. The air duct is unobstructed, the air output is large, and the heat is taken away cleanly and neatly.
User experience: Not fancy, but stability is king
After using it for three days, the biggest feeling I get from the editor is two words: practical. This A15pro does not have a fancy smart screen, nor does it have a complex stack of functions. The UI interface is similar to that of Avalon's traditional servers, which is concise and easy to use. It is simple to configure and deploy quickly, and is suitable for users who pursue "plug and play mining".
Compared with some "PPT servers" of the same period that were prone to computer crashes, freezes, and temperature control failures, the A15pro is really like a sturdy old brick - nothing new, but very durable, capable, and productive.
Summary: A main model worth holding for a long time
In general, Avalon A15pro is a high-performance server with clear positioning, stable performance and solid workmanship. It is especially suitable for the following people:
✅ Users who want to build a stable computer room
✅ Professional miners who pursue high computing power and high energy efficiency
✅ People who don’t like “fancy things” and just want to make stable money
If you are struggling to decide which server to buy, you might as well try this "construction site warrior" A15pro. It may not be the most amazing, but it is definitely the most reliable one.
Additional reminder: The machine makes a lot of noise when running, so it is recommended to use it in an independent machine room or soundproof cabinet; pay attention to ambient temperature control and maintain good ventilation to help extend the life of the equipment.
If you also want to get in or upgrade your computer room, you might as well put the Avalon A15pro on your list. Getting it is like hiring a hardworking and reliable employee. #btc#
