📉 What is tokenomics?
It's when a project beautifully explains why their token is needed, even though we all know: "To increase the price." 😏
But seriously:
Tokenomics is the economy of the token. How it lives, multiplies, and (sometimes) dies.
What it includes:
▫️ How many tokens have been printed (and how many more will be printed secretly)
▫️ Who received how much (team, funds, team friends)
▫️ Are tokens being burned or just promised to be burned
▫️ What is the purpose of the token (often just "hold")
▫️ How the project motivates holding, rather than selling during highs
Why analyze?
🔴 To understand when the project will collapse
🔴 To check how centralized everything is, even though the website says "Web3"
🔴 To estimate how many tokens will be dumped on you after TGE
🔴 To find where the real utility is, and where "there will be an ecosystem in the future"
How to analyze:
🔵 Read the whitepaper (yes, that pdf that no one opens)
🔵 Compare total and circulating supply: if 5% is in circulation — expect a dump
🔵 Check if the team holds 90% of the tokens under the guise of "growth stimulation"
🔵 Verify: is the token really needed or just lying around as a "ticket to the DAO"
🔵 Is there burning? Or is it just a ritual to attract faith?
