#CPIWatch US consumer inflation, measured by the CPI, showed an increase of +0.29% in June, in line with expectations, after a result of +0.10% in the previous month and 0.00% in the same month of the previous year.

The core CPI, the most important reading as it excludes more volatile items (food and energy), showed an increase of +0.23%, below expectations of +0.30%, after an increase of +0.13% in the previous month and +0.09% in the same month of the previous year.
