About the coin that sounds like an injection — Injective, or at home — INJ. Why injection? Because someone is really injecting with this token, hoping to wake up rich.
But let's go in order.
What kind of beast is this?
Injective — Layer-1 blockchain. If you're already tired of these words — welcome to the club! Layer-1 means that this is not some kind of overlay on Ethereum, but rather a kind of crypto-city with casinos inside. Here we have DeFi entertainment: decentralized exchanges, derivatives, predictions — and of course, a bunch of fees.
Interestingly, this all was created by the guys from Injective Labs — people with ambition and teeth. They promise you a world without intermediaries: trade, stake, and earn by burning tokens. The classic scheme: first you buy the token, then you burn it yourself. Brilliant.
The whole point of INJ is that they have a magical trick: 60% of all trading fees go to burning tokens. It's like if banks returned your money for every fee. But our banks are not like that — so Injective looks fresh.
Add to this interoperability (what a word!) — Injective is friendly with Ethereum, Solana, and all this zoo of BNB, Polygon, and Cosmos. All this for one goal — to take your money as quickly as possible and on any network. Democracy in action.
Price and fans
At the time of writing this cheerful opus, INJ is worth about $12.5. Market cap — just under a billion. So someone still believes that this is not just a trick. However, if we look at March 2024 — INJ was worth $52. This means someone is left with a bag full of INJ, hoping for a new moon.
What's next?
Injective is not sitting still. Here you have derivatives, NFTs, and even some tokenized real assets. They also promise to launch a staked ETF — because in 2025, without an ETF, you are nobody. And who is against it? Let it be. Everything is better than watching Netflix for a $15 subscription.
So is it worth buying?
A question for you. If you believe in DeFi and that banks will close tomorrow, and the whole world will rush to trade derivatives on the Injective network — maybe you need INJ.
And if you don't believe it — just watch. Because Injective is a great show: there's burning, there's staking, there are memes, and there's a chance to become rich. Or poor. In any case — it won't be boring.
Remember: in the world of crypto, anything is possible — especially the impossible.
