The price of Bitcoin has been soaring for days, and today (the 14th) it soared past $122,000, bringing its market capitalization to $2.4 trillion, surpassing Amazon and becoming the '5th largest asset globally'; more notably, according to on-chain data estimates, Satoshi Nakamoto, rumored to hold 1.096 million Bitcoins, has seen his net worth rise to over $131 billion, enough to rank him as the '11th richest person in the world.'

According to the latest statistics from CompaniesMarketCap, Bitcoin currently has a market capitalization of $2.438 trillion, successfully surpassing Amazon ($2.388 trillion) and silver ($2.215 trillion), making it the 5th largest asset globally, only behind gold, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple.

The mysterious driving force behind this is the founder who has never appeared but holds millions of Bitcoins—Satoshi Nakamoto.

On-chain data analysis platform Arkham Intelligence estimates that the Bitcoin held by Satoshi Nakamoto is now worth over $131 billion, theoretically enough to place him at 11th on the (Forbes) billionaires list, closely approaching Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who is currently ranked 10th with a net worth of $142 billion.

However, Forbes has not yet included the assets in the cryptocurrency wallet in its statistics, only using publicly verifiable assets (such as stocks, company equity, etc.) as the basis.

Currently, the world's richest person remains Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, with a net worth of over $404 billion; Larry Ellison, founder of software giant Oracle, ranks second with a fortune of $274 billion; followed closely by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, also with a net worth of $274 billion.

The market estimates that if Bitcoin's upward trend continues and soars over 208% to $370,000, Satoshi Nakamoto's net worth could challenge the title of the world's richest person, provided that the wealth of other tech giants does not change significantly.
