🤖 The new plant by Envision Energy in Chifeng is not only the largest in the world - it is the FIRST fully AI-controlled plant. The artificial intelligence system balances wind and solar energy with hydrogen production in real-time, optimizing every watt without connection to the power grid.
It produces 320,000 tons of green ammonia per year (to scale up to 1.5 million). It is powered 100% by the largest off-grid renewable system on the planet: advanced wind turbines + battery storage + AI predictive weather modeling.
🧠 The revolutionary part: when there is excess green energy, it converts it into liquid nitrogen for storage. The electrolyzers intelligently respond to fluctuations in renewable energy, dynamically optimizing energy absorption and ammonia production. It's like having a giant brain managing a factory.
China has already installed 2.5 GW of electrolyzer capacity this year, producing 220,000 tons of green hydrogen - 6,000 tons MORE than the combined production of the rest of the world. For comparison: all of Europe produced just 20,000 tons in 2022.
