⛪ Pope Leo XIV sprinkles holy water on the exaggeration of AI, reminding the world that while machines can crunch numbers and spit out essays, they are useless for compassion or saving your soul.
In a message to the UN Summit on AI for Good, he said that AI is breaking into all aspects of life, from medicine to military technology, and that it is better for humans not to hand over the wheel just because the algorithms look shiny.
