#TrumpBitcoinEmpire Brother B checked the news early in the morning, and Trump has stirred up quite a scene again! On July 22 local time, he announced on his 'Truth Social' that the United States and Japan have reached a trade agreement. The contents of this agreement are not simple; Japan will pay the United States a 15% equivalent tariff and invest 550 billion USD in the US. Trump himself said this might be the biggest agreement in history, claiming this investment could bring 90% profit to the US and create hundreds of thousands of jobs. Moreover, the Japanese market must also be opened, including cars, trucks, rice, and more. However, it’s worth mentioning that reaching this agreement wasn't easy. Just on July 7, Trump had threatened to impose a 25% tariff on Japan starting August 1, which is 1 percentage point higher than the 24% he mentioned back in April. Previously, Japan's exports to the US had already dropped by 11.4% in June, and car exports were even worse, down by 26.7%, likely due to the impact of US tariffs. On the Japanese side, Ryo Akizawa, who is in charge of the negotiations, has gone to the US for the 8th time. As soon as Trump announced it, Japanese government officials welcomed the news, stating that it was the result of Akizawa's tenacious negotiations, and they mentioned that this is a good thing for US-Japan relations, helping to ease the concerns of the Japanese public.
