The goal is to prevent the use of subsidized electricity for cryptocurrency mining and to strengthen the technological sovereignty of the country. The bill suggests that DC owners can voluntarily enter the register, and mining will be prohibited within it. Experts note that this could negatively impact industrial mining, as many operators use traditional DCs for additional equipment loading and tariff support. However, specialists believe that large data centers will be able to adapt by entering the register and retaining their advantages. At the same time, industrial miners without the appropriate certifications may face increased electricity costs and reduced financial stability. The law aims to create fair conditions for all participants in the digital infrastructure.
