The essence of left-side trading is: understanding fundamentals, deleveraging, trading in batches, being able to manage funds well, and enduring long periods of being stuck. The requirement for capital is generally higher than that of right-side trading. If one can strictly implement stop-losses, it is still simpler and more direct than trend trading.

The torment of left-side trading is not easier than the stop-losses in trend trading. In fact, left-side trading can be even more difficult because it demands higher requirements for timing, fund management, and psychological endurance; for ordinary investors, it is advisable to start accumulating experience with right-side trading and gradually attempt left-side strategies. If one does not love stop-losses in trend trading or does not understand fundamentals and cannot manage funds well in left-side trading, then it all depends on luck, and one could inadvertently get 'cut' in the market.
