The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Wednesday the implementation of a 50% tariff on imports from Brazil in retaliation for the judicial process against former Brazilian dignitary Jair Bolsonaro.
The American leader sent a letter to his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, informing him that the measure will take effect from next August 1.
