🚨Polkadot Testnet Major Update! Developers Please Note!
In order to simplify the developer experience, @Polkadot officially establishes @PaseoNetwork as the only official testnet, and “Westend” will no longer be recommended for use!
Additionally, Passet Hub has been introduced! This is a temporary instance of the Asset Hub system chain on Paseo!
- It integrates pallet-revive (i.e., preview of PolkaVM smart contract functionality)
- Deployed by the Paseo core team and the Parity infrastructure team
- Provides a preview environment to test the upcoming smart contract features on Polkadot
- Will regularly sync updates from Westend's Asset Hub
- Once Paseo's official Asset Hub activates pallet-revive (expected Q4 2025), Passet Hub will be decommissioned
More information (RPC, ParaID, faucet, documentation) has been synchronized and updated!
