Is the US dollar about to change dramatically? The last line of defense is being breached!
The US dollar index is approaching a super critical position—this is the "last line of defense" in its trend over the past decade! Just like the Ren and Du meridians of a martial arts master, once breached, the entire strong position of the dollar may collapse completely!
How important is this support level? Let's put it this way: this is the last "fig leaf" for the dollar bulls! If it holds, there might still be some time to bounce around, playing a bit of "wide fluctuations" rebound; if it breaks down, then it’s like poking a hornet's nest—meaning that the "structural strength" that the dollar has painstakingly established since the 2008 financial crisis may have to say goodbye to us!
Do you know how the US maintains dollar hegemony?
It relies on four main strategies: high interest rates, balance sheet reduction, creating geopolitical conflicts, and monetization.
What's worse is that if interest rate cuts really restart in September, it would be like adding salt to the dollar's wounds! Once interest rates fall, the dollar's attractiveness directly diminishes, and combined with the previously overdrawn hegemonic dividends, I dare say: seeing US debt collapse within five years is definitely not alarmist!
To give a simple example: dollar hegemony is like a credit card, and the US has maxed out its limit, now it can't even make the minimum payments! Once the support level is lost, this credit card might get frozen by the bank, and then the global financial market would shake as well!
Finally, to emphasize: this is the "life and death moment" for the dollar! We ordinary investors must not become cannon fodder, quickly adjust our positions, and don't put all our eggs in the dollar basket!
Remember, in the financial market, never go against the trend; following the trend is the way to go!
