🐋 A lot of dormant wallets have become active recently

Yesterday, two addresses on the Ethereum network became active for the first time in almost 10 years and conducted transactions totaling 1,140 $ETH , equivalent to about $2.9M. The two addresses received 900 ETH and 240 ETH respectively through genesis transactions on the network's launch day on July 30, 2015. At that time, the value of the coin was approximately $0.31. Now, the price of ETH is at around $2,550, which represents an increase of 90,000% over the time.

In the first three months of the year, about 62,800 $BTC were moved, which had been unused for more than seven years. In July, an unknown person moved 80,000 BTC worth $8.6B from eight wallets that had been unused for 14 years.
