⚖️ Ethereum loses to Solana in revenue from decentralized applications

In June, Solana's revenue from decentralized applications in its ecosystem exceeded $146mn. $SOL has consistently led in decentralized app revenue and metrics, ahead of $ETH and $BNB .

As of mid-2024, the two competing smart contract platforms rival each other in terms of DEX volume, decentralized app revenue, TVL and DeFi dominance.

TheBlock data shows that Solana has maintained its dominance in terms of DEX volume, with the largest share of Solana-based DEX in the ecosystem since October 2024.

The trend is likely to continue into 2025, and while the July data is incomplete, Solana continues to lead with $5.78 billion vs. Ethereum, and $4.7 billion.
