With Binance consolidated as the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world - and also a reference for Brazilian users - we decided to evaluate how a local competitor, Foxbit, behaves in the face of this global standard.

We deposited the same amount on both platforms, executed purchase operations, tested staking, navigated through the menus and analyzed the support.

In this article, you first see what Binance offers at each stage, and then how Foxbit compares - highlighting where it comes close, diverges, or falls short.

Interface and main navigation: Binance vs Foxbit

Binance offers a fluid and modern navigation, with fixed tabs in the footer that provide direct access to the main sections: Home, Markets, Trade, Discover and Wallet. The structure is designed for those who need to quickly switch between functionalities, without wasting time with hidden menus. The possibility of customizing the home screen with widgets also enhances the experience for those who manage multiple assets and products.

At Foxbit, navigation follows a more traditional model, with menus at the top of the screen and a side menu with icons such as “Book of Offers”, “Earn” and “Card”. The interface is very reminiscent of banking apps, which may appeal to beginners looking for familiarity. However, for more experienced users or those who operate frequently, this structure may seem less dynamic and require more taps to get where they want to go.

On the Foxbit app's home screen, the experience is centered on the balance in reais and quick action options such as Deposit, Trade, Send and Transfer. There is also a section to switch between “Wallet” and “Quotes”.

Compared to Binance, the first screen is much more market-oriented: it shows rising assets, daily highlights, news, and other recommendations. In other words, Binance connects you directly with what’s happening in the crypto world. Foxbit, on the other hand, puts its full focus on your money and your operations.

Summary: Binance offers a more fluid, intuitive and customizable navigation, ideal for those who use the app frequently and need agility. Foxbit focuses on a structure closer to traditional banks, simple for beginners, but limited in terms of usability for advanced users.

BRL Deposits: Binance vs Foxbit

At Binance, Pix is available in seconds and without fees; there is also a card and P2P for those who prefer flexibility or need to move large amounts outside of banking hours.

Foxbit highlights Pix Express, credit card and even cash deposit — a good variety for those starting out, but with a greater emphasis on traditional Pix, in which there are no fees charged on the deposit.

Summary: Both facilitate Pix; Binance has the advantage by adding instant P2P and a card with immediate settlement.

Checking the market: Binance vs Foxbit

On Binance, market research goes far beyond basic charts. You can view highly detailed candlestick charts, with technical indicators, drawing tools, and different time frames. The app also allows you to execute advanced orders, such as stop-loss, limit, market, OCO, and even iceberg orders — essential features for traders who operate with greater precision. Liquidity is high, with hundreds of trading pairs available in real time.

At Foxbit, when clicking on “Order Book”, the user finds a simpler and cleaner interface, with candlestick charts, recent volume and active buy and sell orders. We tested the BTC/BRL pair and the reading was clear, suitable for those who just want to view the price and understand the basic movement of the asset.

Summary: Binance delivers a complete and advanced market experience, ideal for users who trade frequently or seek more control over their orders. Foxbit serves the beginner investor well, with a clear visualization, but limited in strategic resources.

Buying cryptocurrencies (test with XLM): Binance vs Foxbit

To assess the real acquisition cost, we simulated the purchase of R$15 in Stellar (XLM) on both platforms and recorded the results (images above).

  • Binance – Using the Converter function, the app quoted 1 BRL = 0.73636 XLM and delivered 11.04540181 XLM. The transaction did not incur any fees, and the entire flow — inputting the amount, checking the quantity, and confirming — was completed in just a few taps.

  • Foxbit – In the simplified purchase flow, the app displayed an average price of R$1.3525 per XLM. After the fee of 0.05585344 XLM, the net amount received was 11.03471956 XLM for the same investment of R$15.

Summary: Even with a modest difference, Binance delivered more XLM for the same amount invested (11.0454 XLM vs 11.0347 XLM) thanks to the slightly better price and the absence of transaction fees. At larger amounts, this percentage advantage tends to become even more relevant for the investor.

Passive income with staking: Binance vs Foxbit

At Binance, staking is part of a broad and well-structured ecosystem through Simple Earn, which offers dozens of assets with flexible or locked yield options (with terms ranging from 30 to 120 days). In addition, users can access liquidity pools, staking with variable APR, ETH 2.0, and participate in early launches via Launchpool. The variety and flexibility allow investors to customize their strategy according to their risk profile and desired liquidity.

At Foxbit, access to staking is via the “Foxbit Earn” tab, with a simple and straightforward interface. At the time of testing, options such as Solana (SOL) with a yield of 5.25% per year and Axie Infinity (AXS) with a return of 21% per year were available, both in a flexible format. There was also Polkadot (DOT), among others. The experience is intuitive and aimed at those seeking practicality, although the number of tokens is much more limited.

Summary: Binance leads in terms of the breadth of assets and customization of staking conditions, making it the best option for those who want to extract the maximum potential from crypto assets. Foxbit offers an accessible and straightforward solution, ideal for those seeking profitability without complications, but still with limited options.

Customer Support: Binance vs Foxbit

Binance provides a structured and efficient support system, with 24-hour service directly in the app. The process starts with an intelligent virtual assistant, which allows searches by topics, open questions and offers quick shortcuts for actions such as checking orders, deposits or resetting authentication.

The big difference is the support button located on the app's home page, making it easier to start the service. When necessary, the user can be forwarded to a human attendant, with conversations in Portuguese and generally quick resolution.

At Foxbit, the support experience is still quite limited. When trying to seek help within the app, the user is redirected to an external page in the browser, where they find a generic FAQ. If the question persists, the only option available is to fill out a contact form. There is no real-time chat or direct support in the app itself, which makes support difficult in more urgent or complex situations.

Summary: Binance offers fast, comprehensive support that is fully integrated into the app, with 24-hour support and human agents available. Foxbit, on the other hand, has a more limited model, based on FAQs and forms, which can lead to frustration when the user needs immediate help.
