Kremlin Questions Trump's Success Claims, Calls Impact of Iran Attack Too Early to Assess
MOSCOW – The Russian government (Kremlin) on Wednesday openly expressed its doubts regarding the success claims made by U.S. President Donald Trump related to the attack on the nuclear facilities of its ally, Iran.
In a daily press briefing, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that it is still too early for anyone to have accurate data on the actual impact of the attack.
"We do not think anyone can have realistic data at this time," Peskov told reporters in response to a question about Trump's assessment of the U.S. military operation.
These comments come amid reports of internal disputes in Washington, where the White House's total victory claims contradict early assessments from several U.S. intelligence sources indicating that the damage may not be significant.
With this statement, the Kremlin subtly challenges the U.S. narrative and positions itself skeptically while awaiting tangible evidence regarding the effectiveness of the "Operation Midnight Hammer" attack. This also represents Moscow's diplomatic support for Tehran following the attack.#Rusia $BTC
