🔐 2FA on Binance
It is a security system that requires you to enter an additional temporary code after the password, generated through:
* An app like Google Authenticator or Binance Authenticator
* Or an SMS text message
* Or a YubiKey device (for advanced users)
📲 Steps to activate using Google Authenticator (the most popular method):
1. Log in to your Binance account.
2. Go to the top right > then to "Security".
3. Next to the "Google Authenticator" option
click on "Enable".
4. Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone
5. Scan the QR code
visible on the screen using the app.
6. Enter the two codes:
* The code sent to your email or phone
* The temporary code from the Google Authenticator app
