Israel and Hamas ceasefire, major European stock indices rise, some Middle Eastern stock markets up
On June 24, European stocks opened higher, with the German DAX index and the Euro Stoxx 50 index rising nearly 2%, the UK FTSE 100 index up 0.66%, and the Italian FTSE MIB index up 1.5%.
Additionally, the Israeli stock market opened higher, with the Tel Aviv 125 index rising 1.4%. The main index in Dubai rose 3.1% in early trading. The benchmark index in Saudi Arabia increased by 2.1% in early trading.
