⛓️ Onchain activity in the $BTC network has strongly decreased
The decline in the number of transactions in the network of the first cryptocurrency per day is largely due to the fall of non-financial transactions and the strengthening of the positions of large players.
Between 2023 and 2024, the number of o nchain transactions per day grew, reaching a maximum in November - 734,000. However, since the beginning of 2025, the figure has fallen sharply to 320,000-500,000, approaching its lowest values since October 2023.
Meanwhile, the volume of value being moved remains at historically high levels, averaging $7.5 billion per day.
The number of financial transactions remains roughly flat, but their average dollar value has increased to $36,200. The share of transactions of $100,000 or more has increased from 66% in November 2022 to 80% currently.
In comparison, transactions under $100,000 accounted for 34% of the total in December 2022, and that has now fallen to 11%.
