The world's largest ICP hackathon league event - World Computer Hacker League 2025 (WCHL25) is officially open for registration!
The 2025 World Computer Hacker League (WCHL) is a global hackathon led by the ICP HUBS Network, aimed at discovering, nurturing, and showcasing top developer talent in the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) ecosystem. Over the next four months, this initiative will drive innovation, expand the developer community, and support impactful applications.
From July to October 2025, the global hackathon will ignite developers' innovative passion and help create the next generation of decentralized applications.
🌐 Four months to help you turn ideas into reality
In a four-month hackathon, participants will design and develop a fully functional product based on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). This is not just a concept showcase, but a true mainnet-level MVP implementation!
WCHL25 is divided into four rounds, each aimed at refining your project and selecting the strongest teams. Quality is key - only top projects can advance, with a total prize pool of up to $300,000 distributed in phases.

Qualification Round (July): $30,000 prize, online qualification rounds, introduction to ICP basics, 50% of teams advance;
National Competition (August): $50,000 prize, a nationwide competition to refine applications, 30% of teams advance;
Regional Competition (September): $70,000 prize, regional competitions across five continents (North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia), 30% of teams advance;
Global Finals (October): $150,000 prize, grand finals, showcase, winner takes all, the best teams will compete for global glory!

Fully On-Chain: Fully on-chain assets and interaction scenarios, using ICP to tokenize physical assets such as real estate or art on the blockchain, achieving shared ownership and new digital interactions, designed to efficiently connect the physical and digital worlds.

WCHL25 invites teams from around the world to create on ICP. If you are an independent developer, please form your own team - recruit developers, UX/UI designers, business strategists, or other creative talents. We do not provide matching services, so please gather your team to create extraordinary works together.
