This year, we launched the 'World Computer Tech Lectures' series with a clear mission: to focus on the groundbreaking technology of the Internet Computer Protocol. In 11 lectures, experts from the DFINITY Foundation delved into the core concepts driving the vision of a 'World Computer.'
The first season has concluded, and we want to reflect on the key themes discussed by the speakers. Given the enthusiastic feedback from the community regarding the tech lectures, we also want to announce that we will replay the entire first season in preparation for the next season.
Overall Situation: Why ICP is crucial

Dear ORIGYN community, as 2024 comes to a close, it's time to share the important milestones and achievements that have shaped ORIGYN's journey this year, driven by our commitment to revolutionizing real-world asset certification, leading to significant growth, technological advancements, and strategic partnerships.
Growth and adoption
User growth: ORIGYN's protocol users significantly increased, growing 792% year-on-year, from 10,000 users in November 2023 to approximately 80,000 users by the end of November 2024.

OGY token burn: Since the end of 2022, a total of 203 million OGY tokens have been burned, reflecting our commitment to value appreciation and ecosystem health.

The second quarter of 2025 has concluded, and ORIGYN has evidently begun a new chapter. It is not just a protocol but a thriving movement redefining how real-world assets (RWA) are certified, owned, and traded on-chain.
From technological advancements and global visibility to disruptive partnerships and community tools, this quarter's focus is on purposefully building momentum. Here is a recap of the most significant milestones.
Acquisition of ClaimLink

In April this year, ORIGYN boldly acquired ClaimLink to expand its influence and availability. ClaimLink is known for its user experience in digital asset issuance and on-chain ticketing, marking the start of ORIGYN's long-term vision to empower real-world applications of NFTs, covering luxury events, concerts, product distribution, and verifiable claims.

In the rapidly evolving landscape of tokenized real-world assets (RWA), infrastructure is crucial. In the first quarter of 2025, ORIGYN proved its leadership.
As the world moves away from excessive hype, ORIGYN is setting new standards for verifiable, decentralized ownership of real-world assets and has made significant progress in art, gold, luxury goods, and impact-driven innovation in the first quarter.

ORIGYN acquires ClaimLink

Caffeine is a new platform related to vibe coding that was first showcased at the WCS in Zurich on June 3rd and is currently planned to be released at the "Hello, Self-Writing Internet" event in San Francisco on July 15th.
Now, most developers at least "vibe code" at some point and collaborate with AI integrated into their tools.

Caffeine pioneers a related paradigm of creating, updating, and managing "self-written" applications end-to-end through natural language conversations with artificial intelligence, without any technical input. The platform is accessible via desktop or mobile web browsers.

Suzanne Syz is helping to change the jewelry industry.
This Geneva jeweler is working with the Swiss technology foundation Origyn to create digital certifications for all 1,001 of her pieces, making her one of the first jewelry artists to do so.
Syz is following in the footsteps of major designers like Chopard, Cartier, and Tiffany, who are leveraging this technology to enhance the authenticity and traceability of their luxury goods. While these companies currently only use digital verification for some products, Syz will be among the first jewelry artists to certify their entire collection through blockchain.

We are excited to share the latest updates on the Internet Computer dashboard (dashboard.internetcomputer.org) - this portal aims to help developers, users, and ecosystem explorers better understand the network through clean and accessible data.
The dashboard was originally built as a powerful utility for real-time metrics and is now continually evolving into a more structured, insight-driven platform; this article focuses on its recent improvements and explains how we are building a more data-driven, interconnected, ecosystem-level view of the Internet Computer.

This paper investigates the Autonomous Rate Manager (ARM), a system built on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) designed to automate Liquity V2 loan rate management.
Liquity V2 is a decentralized protocol running on the Ethereum mainnet that allows users to borrow its stablecoin BOLD against collateral assets (including ETH, wstETH, and rETH). A key innovation of the protocol is allowing borrowers to set and adjust interest rates themselves.
The problem is that borrowers with interest rates below other borrowers face higher redemption risks. Simply put, this mechanism allows any BOLD holder to redeem it through the protocol for a combination of ETH worth $1 and liquid staking tokens (minus fees), and the system will deduct this amount from the collateral of borrowers who set the minimum interest rate.

Interacting with Solana from ICP
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and now Solana: Smart contracts (also known as 'containers') on the Internet Computer can interact with these three major blockchains in a completely decentralized manner, allowing developers to create unique multi-chain decentralized applications (dapps), making it no longer a dream to fully exchange SOL on-chain for BTC.
This is achieved by adding two new features to the Internet Computer, which together accomplish the Helium milestone of the ICP roadmap, thus tightening the link between Solana and ICP:

After the end of 2024, we want to review some highlights from the past year with the community and share key points about the future of Internet Computer governance in 2025.
