#Write2Earn Observers consider that Iran is still cohesive and is targeting Israel in several major cities alongside some important facilities.
The announcement by American President Donald Trump of a military strike on several Iranian nuclear facilities and the announcement by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of his trip to Russia for important talks and preparations to respond to the American strike has raised many questions, the most important of which are: Will other countries enter the war with Iran against Israel and America? What are the possible scenarios?
For his part, the Egyptian military and strategic expert and advisor at the Command and Staff College, Major General Osama Mahmoud Kabeer, stated in exclusive remarks to "Al-Arabiya.net" and "Al-Hadath.net" that "the most important thing mentioned in the statements of the Iranian foreign minister at the emergency conference is that America has crossed the red line, and that an assessment is currently underway of the Iranian losses so far." He also referred to the Iranian minister's mention that the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty has become "worthless now," announcing his visit to Moscow on Sunday for important talks.
The Egyptian military expert believes that Iran is still cohesive and is targeting Israel in several major cities alongside some important facilities, adding in his estimation that Iran and Russia are jointly devising a response to the attacks on Iran that may involve urgent and advanced military support with strategic deterrent weapons from Russia to target Israel and force it to stop. It is possible to use the Russian Orshanik missile, which is highly capable and fast, and employ Russian stealth fighters to breach Israeli airspace and obtain intelligence about strategic and influential Israeli targets.
The Egyptian expert revealed that the second scenario is targeting American military bases and positions in the region, but it comes second after the Israeli target bank, to force Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop so that America is not heavily embroiled in the war if it is directly targeted by Iran, which is the scenario closest according to him.
He continued: The third and most distant scenario is for Russia to move diplomatically at the Security Council in favor of Iran in an attempt to issue a resolution to stop the aggression.
Russian support for Iran
Additionally, the Egyptian security and strategic expert, former director of the security media office for the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Major General Marwan Mustafa, stated in exclusive remarks to "Al-Arabiya.net" and "Al-Hadath.net" that due to Russia's difficult and sensitive military positions in its war with Ukraine and its strong desire to avoid escalating confrontation with Europe and America in the coming period, and despite the existence of a strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran, Russia has not intervened directly in the ongoing war and has limited its participation to secretly supplying Iran with some missile batteries and air defense platforms as a substitute for what has been destroyed.
The Egyptian expert continued: Politically, Russia's support has been limited to mediating rapprochement between the negotiating parties and the possibility of transferring part of the nuclear stockpile to its territory, which was rejected by American President Trump and the European Union.
He added that there were leaks indicating that Russian President Vladimir Putin warned America and Israel against harming Russian experts working at the Bushehr nuclear facility, and it is clear that they were evacuated before the Israeli strike.
Major General Marwan speculated that Russia will remain distant from direct military intervention for fear of escalation with Trump, opting instead for covert military support and political backing and condemnation in the Security Council, and assistance in reconstruction after the war, adding that it is possible for China and Russia to adopt a resolution in the Security Council condemning the American attacks, but it is likely that an American veto will thwart it.
